Don't Waste Your Time And Money On These Diy Projects
1. A sock wreath
Estimated New Cost: $50–60* Estimated DIY Cost: $30–35* Someone shouldn't actually be punished for attempting to make the sock wreath work because it was already a lousy invention. The idea behind the sock wreath was to supposedly take a number of socks, maybe ones that had lost their other half, and wrap them around a cardboard tube that was formed like a wreath. Put a ribbon on it, and it takes on a festive appearance.
2. Paw Print Accent Pieces
Estimated New Cost (Already Printed): $7* Estimated (DIY) Cost: $17–$18* The classic kid-handprint ornament is incredibly dated. Paw print decorations use the same idea, but they apply it to your dog—the family member who is least likely to know about or care about Christmas. We say dog because a cat could never engage in this level of detail to even come close to fitting the model.
