11. The Sundial Bridge

Located in California's Redding Founded in 2004 Price: $23.5 million Situated in Turtle Bay, Redding, California, the Sundial Bridge is a pedestrian and cyclist-friendly cantilever spar bridge supported by cables. It resembles a massive sundial in shape. For $23.5 million in 2004, Santiago Calatrava designed the Sundial Bridge. With a clearance of only 26 feet, it spans 700 feet.

The McConnell Arboretum & Gardens and the southern and northern portions of Turtle Bay Exploration Park, which house museums, are both accessible from the Bridge.
